Responsible:   study of proteinase inhibitors from sunflower: detection, purification, analysis of variability in cultivated and wild species,genetic analysis, interaction with proteinases from  pathogenic fungi. Discovering of low-molecular (1.5 kDa) TI in sunflower.
Study of genetic control and biochemical properties of sunflower albumins.
Results were reported at EUCARPIA Congress (Viterbo, Italy, 1998b) and published in
J Phytopathol (1999), J.Mol.Biol. (1999), Theor Appl Genet (2000) and Euphytica (2003)
